Lately the more it becomes spring the more excited I am for the upcoming spring shopping and trends. Two trends that have caught my eye were bright coloured jeans for the second year in a row, that really stand out and are so fun to create different combo's with. The new one I want to try are floral or unique prints on pants that draw attention and a laid back feel while still looking stylish. What spring trends do you want to try?

Bundle Up!

Here in Canada it is about to become really cold! I currently have been wearing my leather jacket everyday but am now on the hunt for the perfect winter jacket. There are so many cute choices and so I have narrowed it down to a few of my favourites and want to know which ones you like best? Keep your fingers crossed that the fall wind will stay a little longer instead of the winter snow!

Fall'in love
Picture via. Teen Vogue
It's that time of year again where everyone starts to prepare for back to school. Although I always look forward to going back to school I am sad to see the summer go but I now know that I have fall fashion to look forward to. Dressing for the first day of school was always a stressful but fun task, unfortunately I currently wear a uniform to school so I no longer have to worry about that. I thought I would share some iteams I would love to have for back to school and hopefully you can find something you like to.
A Simple button down, especially blue ones, are my favourite thing to throw on for a simple and effortless look.
A brightly coloured blazer is perfect to layer on top of a simple t-shirt and my favourite way to add colour to an otherwise basic outfit.
Oxford shoes are a cute and quirky addition to an outfit. Not only are they cute but they are also very comfy and will keep your feet happy throughout the day!
A stripped shirt is the best for any cool fall day, as it goes with everything from jeans to a print skirt and will be cozy and yet still breezy
A dress like this is a basic for a fall wardrobe as it still goes well with flats and sandals for summer but still works well with tights and a cardigan for colder weather.
Pleated skirts are a fun way to make your outfit unique and fun so you can stand out but still be classy, especially if you buy it in a bright colour plus it will go well with flats, heels, or sandals!
What are you planning on wearing on your first day back?

OOTD: Back to the Basics
All photo's for Simply Lacey
I have always been a girl who loves her colours, but latley I have been going back to basic colours that are really neutral and go with everything. When I was younger I never really owned any black pieces but have since relized that is a more mature colour and have been wearing it more often. In this outfit I kept it simple as I ran a LOT of errands that morning (and changed into flip flops) but still manged to keep it from looking like something I would wear at night by adding in a lighter coloured top but still required little effort or fuss.
Although it has a chain for the day, my purse can change into a clutch for night
Top: American Eagle, Skirt: Zara, Heels: Fioni Night, Clutch:Aldo, Belt: Vintage
A hair style I have been sporting latley is a sidebraid pulled back into a low bun
Hope you all are having a lovely week!
