Springtime Brights

  1. Zara- $59.90
  2. Forever 21-$35.90 (many different colour options)
  3. J.Crew- $298
  4. J.Crew- $172
  5. H&M-$14.95
Lately the more it becomes spring the more excited I am for the upcoming spring shopping and trends. Two trends that have caught my eye were bright coloured jeans for the second year in a row, that really stand out and are so fun to create different combo's with. The new one I want to try are floral or  unique prints on pants that draw attention and a laid back feel while still looking stylish. What spring trends do you want to try?

Gift Guide: The Homemaker

Hi everyone! I thought since the holidays are upon us (can you believe it?) that I would share some quick gift ideas for those homemakers you know who are always throwing last minuet Christmas parties! You know, the ones with the meals all cooked to perfection and always working on improving their home. These gifts are all great hostess gifts and stay under $55. Enjoy!

These fun ideas are sure to bring a smile to their faces and don't be afraid to put your own twist to these gifts. You could frame the print in a special frame or specialize your wrapping, making it the perfect gift!

Birthday Brainstorming

So September 11 is my Big Sweet 16 and I can't wait! I'm starting to brainstorm some ideas for my party and I wanted some input from my amazing readers. I will be having my closest friends over at my house where we will enjoy an amazing specialized fondant cake (fingers crossed!) with lots of candy, fun and beautiful people. I'll have some friends sleepover and then the next day me and the girls will head out for a day of shopping all around Toronto and then I will head out for a nice dinner with my family. I'm super excited and always open to different party ideas.

Here are a few ideas for party dresses

I love the colour and cut for a party dress but it would still be the perfect dress for shopping as well!

I adore the sweet detailing on this dress!

One of my favourite dresses ever and would love good with any shoe

Different but I just adore the big bow
Any other girly party dresses you would recommend?

A pretty cake with a similar colour scheme

I want it to have a very whimsical yet sophisticated style

I think sweet bows and and pretty flowers complete the setting

Pink drinks with colourful straws will be attending my party

Simple and beautiful

I love the idea of pretty macaroons making a statement and a great snack

I want a big selection of candy going for the whole night including enough for the sleepover movie
Any other ideas for the party or I also was wondering if you had any gift ideas for a sweet 16?

P.S Tomorrow I will share more about the rack to rack event

BHLDN Love

all pictures via. BHLDN

I love any girly, frilly, or lacey pieces and when I discovered Anthropologie's wedding line BHLDN it was love at first sight. Although i'm no where near walking down the aisle (I'm only 16!)  their beautiful, vintage looking pieces couldn't help but grab my attention. They were designed with such detail and gorgeous colours that any girl couldn't help but swoon over them.

The flowy, soft material is perfect in everyway and the hint of red is the perfect pop of colour!

The vintage look to this is one of my favourites, the detail and the sweetheart neckline is perfect for a cocktail party.

Although I typically dislike having black on a wedding dress, I think it balances out the sweetness to this dress and adds character. The headpiece completes the dress and matches the small detailing on the dress wonderfully.

Which dress is your favourite? Leave a comment below and let me know,
