Coveted
Being a Canadian I love seeing new talent in Canada and a few months ago I found the Coveteur and I couldn't admire there hard work more. The photographs are stunning and very creative. The hard working owners of this site is Erin Klienberg, Stephanie Mark and Jake Rosenberg and they are the most creative trio I have ever seen with continuous new ideas. If you live in the Toronto area there is an exclusive exhibit of their work at the Holt Renfrew until September 8 at the Bloor St. location and I hope you get the chance to check it out as I know I will! Enjoy some of my favourite pictures from their amazing site.

Moxie
All photos taken by me
I recentley got home from my shopping trip in the states and I had a blast! We went to Erie, Pennsylvania so we could visit the outlet malls and go to Splash Lagoon and had a blast on the waterslides there. I will share more on my trip and purchases later this week but today I want to share with you my amazing hair dresses Karen. She has been my hair dresser since I was a little girl and I love how well she knows me and my hair! She always does exactly what I ask and has great hair advice. She currently owns the hair studio Moxie which has a super classy and relaxed environment with great staff and even greater style. It is a bit of a drive from my house but it is always worth it! My hair is now fabulously blond, thinner and a lot shorter than i'm used to but I am so pleased with it.Hope you all had a wonderful week!

What a Night...
All pictures taken by me
So on Thursday night I attended a wonderful event called rack to rack. It was an amazing evening and the beautiful stylist Rachel Matthews Burton was so sweet and full of great tips and advice. I was fortunate enough to have won a ticket to this event from the beautiful Kelly from her blog It's D'or and I can't thank her enough for such an amazing oppurtunity. The evening was spent in a comfy and well designed room filled with great clothing, food and drinks. I'm going to fill you in on what I learned that night. So some fall trends to look for is colour, any darker more fall colour such as a plum purple, royal blues, reds, mustard and coral are great for any fall piece. Another thing to look for is luxurious textures such as snake skin, furs, lace, and leather which can bring a fun new element to your fall wardrobe. You can totally change an outfits apperance by how you style it, if you do it right you shouldn't have to buy expensive pieces for an outfit to look expensive. Also if your going to add a statement piece to your outfit, limit it to one because you don't want your outfit to look to busy and you want one main focal point. The 50's and 70's will make a bigger apperence this season with different prints and textures such as polka dots, flared jeans, pencil skirts, bow-tie blouses and oxford shoes. While having print on your clothing is great watch the scale as it needs to be equal to your body size. If you add bulk to your top you want you bottoms to be tight fitting and vise-versa.That is a quick summary of all the amazing tips and trick I learned and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I hope to attend the next funshop and hope to see any followers there.
Just a quick peek at what I wore to the funshop!

Birthday Brainstorming
So September 11 is my Big Sweet 16 and I can't wait! I'm starting to brainstorm some ideas for my party and I wanted some input from my amazing readers. I will be having my closest friends over at my house where we will enjoy an amazing specialized fondant cake (fingers crossed!) with lots of candy, fun and beautiful people. I'll have some friends sleepover and then the next day me and the girls will head out for a day of shopping all around Toronto and then I will head out for a nice dinner with my family. I'm super excited and always open to different party ideas.
Here are a few ideas for party dresses
I love the colour and cut for a party dress but it would still be the perfect dress for shopping as well!
I adore the sweet detailing on this dress!
One of my favourite dresses ever and would love good with any shoe
Different but I just adore the big bow
Any other girly party dresses you would recommend?
A pretty cake with a similar colour scheme

I want it to have a very whimsical yet sophisticated style
I think sweet bows and and pretty flowers complete the setting
Pink drinks with colourful straws will be attending my party
Simple and beautiful

I love the idea of pretty macaroons making a statement and a great snack
I want a big selection of candy going for the whole night including enough for the sleepover movie
Any other ideas for the party or I also was wondering if you had any gift ideas for a sweet 16?
